GearMatic Bot ("the app", "we") is a Discord application operated by Infinite Loop Alchemist, the maker of the GearMatic World of Warcraft addon. By adding the app to a server, installing it on your account, or using any of its commands, you agree to these terms.
The app scores World of Warcraft gear in Discord. You paste a character export produced by the GearMatic addon and the app returns your GearMatic Score and reported equipment gaps. The guild score board compares members who have pasted exports in that Discord server. Free features also include Armory and item lookups, waypoints, optional Battle.net linking and Linked Roles. Preview mockups illustrate proposed features and are not a description of features currently included in a purchase.
You must meet Discord's minimum age and follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Server owners are responsible for how the app is used in their servers.
When offered for purchase, Guild Tier is a Discord app subscription that unlocks the guild score board for everyone in one Discord server. It pays for GearMatic's aggregation of member-submitted exports. Personal scoring, Armory, item lookups, waypoints, Battle.net linking and Linked Roles do not require Guild Tier. The GearMatic addon and its export function do not require a bot subscription.
GearMatic Bot does not offer a personal app subscription. An Infinite Loop Alchemist community Server Subscription is a separate purchase and does not unlock Guild Tier. The Discord checkout listing describes the features included in the subscription you are buying; proposed recommendations shown in mockups are not included unless implemented and explicitly offered in that listing.
Discord handles checkout, billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds under Discord's Paid Services Terms. You can cancel at any time in Discord; access continues until the end of the paid period. We never see or store your payment details. If we materially reduce purchased benefits, we will notify subscribers and give them the opportunity to cancel or modify their subscription before the change takes effect, as required by Discord's Monetization Terms.
Do not use the app to harass anyone, to spam, to scrape or bulk-collect data, to probe or overload the service, or to break Discord's or Blizzard's rules. We may limit or block accounts or servers that do.
The character exports you paste are yours. You give us permission to store and display them so the scoring and guild features work. Do not paste another person's export without their consent.
World of Warcraft and Battle.net are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. The app is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard. Scores are computed from the scoring values in your GearMatic export and GearMatic's scoring constants. Embellishment identification uses a locally shipped mapping sourced from SimulationCraft. The guild score board does not fetch Blizzard API data or use your linked Battle.net account. Separate free features use Blizzard's APIs; Battle.net account linking is optional and uses Blizzard's authorization flow. See our Privacy Policy for the data those features process.
The app is provided as is. Scores, rankings and recommendations are estimates and are not guaranteed to be correct or complete. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the app.
You can remove the app from your server or account at any time. We may suspend or end the service, or any feature, at any time. If a paid feature is discontinued, Discord's refund rules apply to the unused period.
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
